The Meeting Industry Associations’ (MIA) has its own accreditation scheme called Accredited in Meetings (AIM), which offers an assurance that participating venues will deliver their promise of exceptional standards. It confirms that they operate legally and ethically and that they have achieved accreditation to at least the minimum entry level.

Membership of the MIA and achievement of the standard clearly demonstrates a commitment to world class service and exceptional business principles.

AIM accreditation is the only meetings industry standard supported and endorsed by VisitBritain, VisitEngland, MeetEngland, Meeting Professionals International, Association of British Professional Conference Organisers and of course Lancashire & Blackpool Conferences & Meetings.
