Booking Terms and Conditions

Please check that all the details on the confirmation form meet with your requirements. Acceptance of this confirmation implies that your approval of the choice of establishment, its facilities and services and the terms shown and constitute a contract thereon.

The accommodation detailed on this form has been booked for you by the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board as agent for the accommodation establishment and therefore, any contract for the booking is directly between you and the accommodation establishment. On arrival, you should check that the accommodation is as booked, including type of board and price.

The Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board will charge you a deposit towards the cost of the accommodation, which will be deducted from your account by the accommodation establishment on production of your confirmation form. This deposit is non-refundable.

If you wish to cancel your booking, the following policy applies - More than 2 days prior to arrival - loss of deposit only. Less than 2 days prior to arrival - the establishment reserves the right to claim cancellation charges up to 100% of the total cost of the booking. All cancellations must be in writing and sent to The Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board. We will make every reasonable effort to re-sell any cancelled accommodation to reduce your liability for cancellation charges.

A cancellation notice will be issued and sent to you as confirmation of your cancellation.

If you fail to take up the accommodation by the time stated, without prior arrangement with the accommodation establishment, then the booking will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited. The accommodation establishment may also charge you a cancellation fee. In this event The Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board reserves the right to charge the customers credit card with the balance due to the accommodation provider.

Whilst The Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board makes every effort to find suitable accommodation, it cannot be held responsible for, nor accept any liability for complaints or claims of any nature arising from this booking. Nor for any loss or damage which may be suffered by you or other members of your party, during or as a result of a stay at the accommodation establishment.

To the best of The Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board's knowledge, all prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and Service.

Descriptions of the establishments on the website are believed to be correct at the time of publication. The Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board will not be liable for any changes that may occur in establishment ownership, facilities available etc. All accommodation providers will have specific rules and regulations that apply to guests staying in their accommodation. It is not possible to list all these on the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board website and for further details you should check directly with the accommodation provider before booking.

Many establishments have specific facilities and cater for a wide range of visitor needs, such as accessible friendly, children, pets and dietary requirements. Please check with the establishment for full details.

If on arrival, the establishment is displaying terms that are higher than those agreed, the establishment, will honour the terms quoted in this confirmation. Allowances cannot be made for meals not taken, nor for temporary absence,
late arrival or premature departure.

These conditions apply to all bookings whether made in writing, verbally or online.

You will have access to the accommodation from 2.00 pm on the date of arrival and must vacate by 10.00am on the date of departure, unless other times are stated specifically by the hotel.

If you fail to vacate all or part of the accommodation premises by the requisite time the accommodation provider may make a charge for a further night's stay, which shall be due and payable immediately by you. For the avoidance of doubt, failure to vacate includes any persons staying in your party remaining in the accommodation premises and you and/or they leaving goods and/or personal property in the accommodation premises (except by prior arrangement).

Disclosure to Third Parties
In order to facilitate formation and performance of contracts, Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board will pass your details to the accommodation provider. Your attention is drawn to Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board's Privacy Policy Statement.

English Law
The contract will be governed by English Law.
