Lancashire has a huge diversity of different events on offer so it’s not hard to coincide your conference with something fun for delegate downtime. In May the locals dress up in exotic garb and enjoy the coming of summer with the laid-back Caribbean Festival, while in August the Red Arrows perform their death-defying aerial display at the Blackpool Annual Airshow. If music is your thing you’ll enjoy a visit to the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival in Colne, where more than 1,000 artists perform over four days.
