Chipping Gets Gold

Congratulations to Chipping won the Best Village category, a Gold Award and the Tourism Award at the finals of RHS Britain in Bloom Awards 2009.

A floral tractor was the centrepiece of the village's display – designed by five-year-old George Seed and members of the Chipping in Bloom Action Group.

Chipping is a picturesque village on the slopes above the River Loud. In Medieval days no less than five water mills were sighted along Chipping beck.
