Going For Gold

It has been announced that seven Northwest Tourism Awards finalists are up for an English tourism ‘Oscar’. Even better, two out of the seven finalists are in Lancashire.

The Ashton in Lancaster has been shortlisted in the Bed and Breakfast category and the Blackpool Illuminations is up for Tourism Event of the Year. 

We feel a big congratulations is in order to all involved and are keeping our fingers crossed very tightly for two wins! 

All of the shortlisted nominees have already won at the England’s Northwest Tourism Awards and will now be pitted against their counterparts from across England at the Awards Ceremony in Brighton on St George’s Day on April 23rd 2010.
